I’m Dawn and this is my little blog.  I’m a married mum of one toddler with a bit of an obsession with running. I do the occasional bit of cycling too.

My gorgeous boy was born at 28 weeks and i did not have the happiest pregnancy. Rather than dwell on the negatives i’ve put all my positive energy into raising my awesome little man, enjoying life with my family to the very fullest and being the healthiest, happiest mum i can be. So i run. I run during nap times, i run at night and i run with a buggy. I run slowly, sometimes i run a bit faster. I run out the stress, i run for the joy, i run for charity, i run for selfishness. I, well, i run.

I’d love to hear your thoughts so feel free to drop me a comment or you can contact me at dawninwonderland@gmail.com.

Dawn x

“Healthy-ish” is a great way to live! To me, it means eating and drinking all the beer, coffee, potato chips and pizza that I want without crossing the 200 pound barrier.

Haha nice! I agree – it would be no life (healthy or otherwise) without pizza and beer!

I love that you wrote: “I love to cycle, run, dance and bodyrock although I’m really not very good at any of those things but i am trying to get better!!”
I absolutely feel the same way and I refuse to let it stop me from doing my best and having fun.
